“Nowhere” b/w “Feints and Alibis”
Where Goddamn Wolves have truly won us over is in the vocal department, and fans of Pixies will wholeheartedly agree. The lead vocal duties are shared by Weilding and McCullough, imbuing “Nowhere” with a mesmerizing Black Francis/ Kim Deal juxtaposition that we truly cannot get enough of. And we would be remiss not to mention the wondrous drum fills that Foglia provides on the hook, resulting in a performance that begs to be experienced live. Although we are not planning a trip to Raleigh any time soon, when we do, you can bet your ass it will be when Goddamn Wolves are playing. – UpToHear

With ‘Nowhere’, GODDAMN WOLVES tread the line between raw and refined. Their music embodies the super catchy hooks reminiscent of artists like Florence + The Machine and The Killers. ‘Nowhere’ is just a single; it’s a declaration, a banger which asserts that they are here to infuse the scene with their energetic and heartfelt indie rock. “Their music holds a brightness that challenges the sun,” says PopHits.Co‘s music curator, “It’s a beam of fierce joy cut through the oft-dreary landscape of modern rock.” – Indie Rock News

It’s a punchy number with a strong sense of emotion that hits your right from the first few bars. The instrumental intro gives way to male and female harmonies as the verse canters along with a sense of resigned nihilism that’s enhanced in the chorus. It’s one for lovers of the alternative, and bands like Pixies and The New Pornographers. – York Calling
