Raleigh indie rockers Goddamn Wolves are back with a new single entitled “Rule of Three.” The song is the fourth to feature bass player Laura McCullough on lead vocals.

The song’s lyrical imagery of “daggers,” “vampire hunters,” “werewolves” and “devils” echoes Apricot Magazine’s characterization of the Wolves as “a band that leans into the chaos of the world and turns it into music that’s as sharp as it is infectious.”

Drew Foglia’s versatile drumming provides the perfect backbone to the track and newest member Jon Trexler fleshes out the guitar landscape laid down by Chris Weilding. Be sure to listen to the end of the track for an unexpected left turn and next-level guitar solo from Chris.

This release was once again recorded at Found After Dark Audio in Raleigh with recording, mixing and mastering from Max Gowan.

Goddamn Wolves has also begun releasing singles on limited edition vinyl through its own Goddamn Records imprint. The next release will be a split 7″ single with Charlotte band It’s Snakes. That’s due in September. Next month will also see the band participating in Raleigh’s annual Hopscotch Festival.
